Though, it is difficult to ignore her. She is quite--loud. [His head aches so much right now.]

Have patience. She'll tire of it soon. There are only five months left now.

[Although a long-lived fellow who put up with Sauron as a neighbor for a couple millennia minus about four hundred years in the middle finds patience to be a relatively easy virtue, after all that. He kind of meant it when he said "even if he waits a hundred years." Cold? Totally. But also true.]

Only five months? My poor ears will not last five months. [They really won't.]

Perhaps she'll quiet down when she finds you a home. It will give her a distraction till then.

Perhaps. [He frowns a bit.] I'm not sure when that will happen honestly. She's been searching for some time now and hasn't found me a home yet.

Well! I do hope to hear differently very soon, my friend. There are many places in which a burglar may be quite comfortable.

Thank you. [He shudders at the word 'burglar', but it is his nickname.] What sort of places?

I cannot say by experience, but there are a few who share my mun's "headspace" with me who have found homes. luceti and demeleier are places she can highly recommend.

[Thranduil, for his part, is pretty okay with just hanging around. It's not like he's running out of time for anything. And there's the PB problem the movie is supposed to solve, so.]

Bursting into a sudden scream can't be normal, even if it's from a mun, and worse, she hasn't stopped? Is she all right?

She has stopped now. Earlier she was smiling and screaming. It was rather irritating, nephew. I thought my hearing my was going to be ruined forever.

[considering Bilbo's voice is a little louder than normal, Frodo has to wonder if his hearing hadn't suffered a little already. ]

I hope what's left of your hearing will recover soon. She must have seen something very exciting, did you get a good peek at what it might be?

[It can't be helped. She was loud.] Some moving picture with a fellow who looks like me. Well, she says he looks like me, but I highly disagree. No respectable Baggins would ever dress like that. Perhaps the screaming was making her delusional.

[Oh, this thing, where the Big Folk attempt to show Bilbo's story. Frodo takes one look at his uncle's clothes and has to bite his lip from saying anything at first, then diplomatically...]

I suppose not. A self respecting Baggins would dress more brightly.

[he's trying not to say anything or look at the weskit Bilbo's decided to wear today. It's.... a very enthusiastic choice, and best left at that]

Precise-[He gives Frodo a strange look.]-ly. And he wouldn't surround himself with strange looking people. [A pause.] Though, those strange looking people did resemble Gandalf and Thorin Oakenshield. Bah, my eyes are failing me.

You aren't nearly that ancient, uncle.

[Frodo's face is studiously solemn, so solemn it's almost painful for him because he's trying very hard not to laugh and give himself away]

Oh no, of course not, because strange looking people tend to surround him, rather than a Baggins seeking them out. But I am glad they seem to have gotten Gandalf and Thorin right.

Exactly. All they are interested in is...[He pauses for a moment when he realizes Frodo is mocking him.]

Nephew, I don't find your sense of humor funny.

I'm sorry. [he doesn't sound sorry at all] You looked so put out that I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

But you must admit, it has to please you that the Big Folk would like to hear so much about your adventures, or to go to such lengths.

A little. [Actually, he's quite please but he'll never admit it.] I would like to know why they are so interested.

You did have a great adventure for anyone, whether it was by a hobbit, dwarf, Man or elf. Dragons, trolls, eagles and Beorn?

[Bilbo, you don't have to make it look like you eat Adventures for lunch, maybe pinch from an orc king or something for a snack]

Yes, of course, of course. It was quite an adventure. But it doesn't really answer why this mundane of mine is acting strange. It's nothing to scream about.

She must have sneaked a glimpse of what the Big Folk have managed so far. It must be superb.

I'll be the judge of that. If anything is wrong, someone will pay. My adventure only deserves the best treatment.
