... [He's sure his mun's only going to be doing this to give him a headache. there's a moment of him glaring at his mun, rubbing the spot where she'd kicked him forwards, and resigned himself to this conversation with a huff. He resists a groan when he's told to at leas make an effort to be nice.]

The books don't have everything. You.... did well... on the last job... but you've still a lot to learn. [The 'compliment' is no less uneasy than the last time he was trying to be nice to her. That wasn't so hard, was it Dean? Don't say yes.]

Besides, there's a hell of a lot of things you've missed out on ...unless chuck's still writing books.
