No, I've never really thought about that as an option. I think I'm better suited to dealing with facts and figures in a lab situation than in a court room.

I always thought being a lawyer was somehow more... subjective. I mean, in that it's a lawyer's job to show the facts in just such a way as to convince people of something. Finding the truth of a matter might not always be good for a lawyer's case if they're on the wrong side of the procedings, right?

You're mostly thinking of criminal law. I deal in business law. It's a lot more black and white.
