On other Arthurian characters

So not only do I have a son from another dimension, but I look to find that's not the Lancelot I know?

I miss the days where all I had to worry about were those decaying creatures and the city of Bell Pointe in an uproar over it. I think I almost want to trade it for Irene scolding me. Or Vergil coming out there to alleviate his anger.

But you left me here with these two things and expect me to be grateful for my hunger being sustained for now?

Let us not forget that the future king is nothing more than a mere boy and he doesn't know a lick of these things.

Bell Pointe? Irene, Vergil? What great interesting tales you're filled with, Gwenhwyfar. Far more interesting than the stories that will pour from my lips in the many moons to come.

But dearest father has never known much- now what troubles are you blabbering about?

Blabbering- I learned that from a woman named Magdalena in my travels. You would like her, you would.

Only one? Can I not take you and them? Run away with me, won't you, dearest Gwen?

And Lancelot? Do go back to this boy and his name that is not mine. And then return to Lancelot. You've got me all curious.

macbastaird: (Don't turn your back)

I would be so happy if you or the Gwen I know would... look, you've gotten me off topic.

Is your heart going to shatter? To rip its way out of your chest- cruel tongue be still. I mean to say, I worry.
macbastaird: (She's psycho crazy)

[personal profile] macbastaird 2012-07-13 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
I am not so cruel.

[The terrible words that threaten to spill past his lips in a violent-mock rage are bitten back for once. Love is so...

False.

Yes, false to him at this point. He shrugs faintly.]

We are terribly blind.
macbastaird: (And twists and breaks)

[personal profile] macbastaird 2012-07-14 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
You are blind as a shadow, dearest Gwen. Or as blind as an owl-no, a fox! No, that is wrong.

Blind as a human.
macbastaird: (Close your eyes and free fall)

[personal profile] macbastaird 2012-07-14 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
Am I? Don't mind me, I've let my tongue slip.

I've let a lot slip. Oh, Gwen, do forgive me?
macbastaird: (This fate)

[personal profile] macbastaird 2012-07-15 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
Recant it? Recant what? I said nothing- nothing, nothing at all. Ha. Don't be silly, Gwen.
macbastaird: (See how it turns)

[personal profile] macbastaird 2012-07-15 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
Oh! Yes, that. I had no idea you heard those words, but you know me so well, knew I'd say that.

But you are, you know. You're blind like everyone else.

Are you not in the mood for my ways? [He sighs, shrugging faintly and looking away.] You and the dog must be against me...

No matter, I still love you, Gwen. No matter how carelessly you love that knight. I love you as sister, you know. So weep not over Lancelot, less I find you in a boat floating down a river. Dear Lady of Shallot.
macbastaird: (Straight down; mortal ground)

[personal profile] macbastaird 2012-07-15 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
You must, you must! No other will do. You are the queen of the lands between Sky and Otherworld- let all envy you, dearest Gwen.
macbastaird: (but she draws you in)

[personal profile] macbastaird 2012-07-15 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
For many reasons beyond the physical. You're smart, and obviously some gods favor you or your life would have ended already.

Except for my mother, she doesn't envy you. She's a bitter woman.
macbastaird: (Rise and fall)

[personal profile] macbastaird 2012-07-15 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
She's beautiful as a doll, but broken as a mirror. And I am her mirror in the King's great court. Or some nonsense the hound has told me again and again. But she does not like the you of my world.

Funny... I hate those words. Because Gwen isn't Gwen, am I not like the Mordred of your place? No, I am too much like myself.
macbastaird: (Burn as the moon at midnight)

You don't know my mother, Gwen, and you never will. You hardly know me. No matter, this shouldn't have come to that point.

You have other matters entirely to discuss.
