I was hoping by some off chance that you were the Doctor from my universe. However false the hope might have been it would of been nice to see a friendly face again.
[ah ha, an idea] Fury gave us all something to make sure if we needed to be in contact, we could. Show it. [a part of him wants to believe in the idea of a good Loki, if for nothing else testing one against the memories of the other.]
Sorry was trying to recall what the device looked like but I just gave up xD
[brows way, way up] Well, that's one way of proving it. [still not 100% convinced, after all it could be stolen somehow, but still] ...Why are you choosing to fight on our side?
At first my reason for joining you was to stop my brother. In the universe I come from he wished to take over the Earth after Father changed whom the crowned Prince was as punishment for his rash behavior.
He wanted to make an example of Earth as his method of ruling being the correct one. I have to believe something else is affecting him though. Even in the most brash of times he would not hurt innocent humans normally but that is exactly what he did.
That... doesn't sound like the Thor I know at all. I heard about his getting banished to New Mexico but I didn't think it was that bad, but I admit to not knowing the whole story involving that.
If you don't know what's affecting him, is it still doing just that even if he's locked away?
Exactly my point. The Thor you know is the brother I grew up with. I think someone twisted his headstrong behavior into something sinister.
[He sighed.]
And yes his mentality hasn't changed with his incarceration but having him locked away is better than having him attempt to overthrow the governments of Earth.
[hearing this from 'crazy as a bag of cats Loki' is still a little mind-boggling] Well, I won't disagree, but do you think it's someone who's misleading him or... something of a completely different nature? [scientist does not trust magic]
[thoughtful look, turning things over] The only way to do anything about that is to bring him to one of the labs, maybe Stark's if he can find a way to keep Thor in.
[Loki's comments actually hints maybe he had been hanging around the Avengers more] Well, then we figure out how to stop psychic tampering, but we aren't going to figure out anything as it currently stands.
We shall see if we are ever forced to deal with the matter in this space between dimensions. As it stands now I don't have to worry about Thor harming anyone until I am returned to my universe. I thank the mundanes that they at least do not let time move without us.
Well, be grateful for small things I suppose. I'm not sure I'd want to be in a universe where Thor is my enemy any more than being in this one where you're the enemy.
Oh well xD
Though I do have a question, what have I to gain from lying to you in this place?

[Sure enough he holds out a very familiar device.]
( I think later in the non-movie verse they end up with key-card looking things but don't worry XD)

( d'awww I like this Loki )

Thanks ^^

[He left it open to being described as magic or science for the benefit of Dr. Banner.]

Not that I believe Tony would turn him over but I doubt they were none too happy that I took Thor back home rather than let them punish him.

I think Tony actually stored it in a personal video collection.
