You know, seeing these older mes around makes me think one thing in particular: Pepper was so wrong about the facial hair thing.

So when are you getting around to finding me some place to go? It's getting really boring without a proper lab or at least something to work on. It can't possibly be as hard as you're making it out to be, right? You look through some games, you find one you can write the app for, and there we go. Just make sure it's somewhere I get to keep the suit, alright? And Extremis better be staying with me too, there is no way am I giving that up. I'll even settle for having it restricted to my own equipment or something.

And another thing... the lurking is getting creepy. No, seriously, with a capital C and everything. You're never going to "get a good grip on me" if all you do is sit on the sidelines and worry about messing up before you even try. I promise I'll go easy on you.

And nothing wrong with not having your lab, you need to get out more anyway. I'm sure Rhodey would agree with me on that one.

And Rhodey knows I'd start using my intellect for nefarious deeds if I don't get the chance to at least tinker with stuff occasionally. Do you really want that to happen, Pepper?

Besides, like Rhodey would let you get that far with evil planning. Though... haven't seen one around in ages and the last one was older...

I don't know, if we both went evil, we could probably drag him along with us.

I know, mun picked me up as a joke originally, but I get more play than the older me that I share head space with. Well not really me since her name's Virginia not... Yeah, Ugh really who names their kids after plants. But anyway, my mun doesn't have a problem with that and I'm cool with it as long as I get out now and then. Which is funny she was about to let me post when she saw yours.

I doubt he'd want to remote control them when he has his own.

My mun decided to watch the show after getting stuck on an Avengers kick, accidentally got addicted. Can't say I blame her, I mean, it is me we're talking about here.

And I'm definitely not complaining. It's good to see a familiar face that's... actually basically the right age and all.

Mine got on the kick the same way. Though she has played a few of the others in this head of hers with other Avengers.

Yeah, mine still has to make some icons, most of the games she plays in though use these play bys... I'm not complaining at least she got the hair color right even if it's a little long. [Aw Tony you get a hug though because she's missed hanging out with a Tony her age.]

[Tony just grins and returns the hug!]

Not while you were fighting, just when you were on patrol and things were quiet. Magazines only hold my attention so long Tony, and really, the nights the police scanners were quiet... it was the only thing that kept me up.

[There's a file on the computer at the armory with both Tony and Rhodey with beards and mustaches and little devil horns because she was that bored.]

I can't believe you did that. Please tell me you didn't save any of them.

Maybe one, but really I don't think even you could figure out the password into the folder. And don't worry no one other than me has seen it.

I'm thirteen, not a baby. Maybe I can't do all the things I do when I'm older, but I can do some of it, or learn to do it, I'm not helpless or stupid, and there is canon.

And I thought it was bad enough for me just being younger than the one most people know. Sounds like you've got it way worse. You seem like you can handle yourself though.

I do all right. I mean - I need help sometimes, but I know when that is and ask for help and all. Plus there's always my rifle.

The big thing was how there were people in my game who knew future-me and wouldn't stop talking about it. So... if you do go anywhere, you need to expect some of that, if anyone there knows the older you. It's really annoying.

I think the worst part about that is it won't even be a future me. We're two different universes, as far as I can tell, and not just timelines. The older me doesn't make his armor until way into adulthood, but I made mine when I was sixteen.

the_library. It's pretty slow but a lot of people will keep a thread going for ages. We've got an older-you, but they let more than one in. It's not a bad place to voice test.

Yeah, that's basically inevitable. I'm not entirely looking forward to it, even if my mun is.

Well, good luck whatever happens! If they were okay with me, they'd be okay with you, I'd think, and if people anywhere think your mun's being weird for picking a less popular version, well people will think what they want.
