Well, I suppose it does make sense that I turn out differently from my counterpart, considering that he grows up in another world with a kingdom and a little sister to look after. It's kind of hard to swallow at first, though. Heylel and the rest - in the other world, I mean - would have trouble believing that boring, stuffy, killjoy Prince Marc could be anything like his mother.
A question, though: Arzei Bohnleid III? Were you seriously contemplating that? Not that I object, of course, since it would be a great honorand I can't exactly be King Airyglyph XV anymore, but I think my parents (and the extended family) would like to have a fresh start, with New Aquor and all.
Okay. Yes, I realize that I'm starting to sound like Mother. And I haven't even said that I'm bored... not yet, anyway.

If you're not boring, stuffy, killjoy Prince Marc, then who are you? And why do I have a feeling I'm going to be stuck in politics while you go around the kingdom having great adventures? Boo.

Hello, Mother. I'm in the Army. And I travel.
And stuff.

... I'm not even dating your father yet and you're already so grown-up. [sniffle]

And I like the attention occasionally. [he's actually embarrassed to admit this, since few in their family who get the attention enjoy it as much as he does] So a point and a half for you, Mother?
... You're starting to sound like Grandmother. It's okay. At least you're sure it works out, right?
