Finished reading the book "The Bad Seed"

Oh I have the sweetest mun in the whole world. The sweetest.

I told you that the book had a happier ending then that silly old movie. That movie ending didn't even make any sense. This way does and it's better. Now mommy's gone and daddy doesn't know anything. And he won't find out because mommy burned all her letters.

Mommy was silly to do that. But she was always silly. I liked her better that way. She got serious near the end and I started to think she might be getting smarter.

But I guess I was wrong.

Besides, she would have shot me if she was smart. Mommy was too emotional.

But now we don't have to think about mommy anymore.

I'm going home to practice my piano mun. Daddy might get worried if I'm away too long.

....No. But sadness in a child for losing a parent, especially one who killed themselves, is normal. However, you are unusual...

She just got really sad when daddy was away. And then she gave me pills and told me they were vitamins. Only they weren't.

She just got sad and decided to drug you to death and then kill herself? Seems a little bit of a stretch all for your father leaving for a bit.

What whole story? I told you what I knew. Even though it's none of your business. Are you a reporter? Daddy said I shouldn't speak to reporters. Nasty people who try to feed on peoples misery he said.

More importantly...if that was true, why not just leave him instead?

More over, what does your father not know? If it was simply a suicide from depression and loneliness, would that not be obvious? You also expressed satisfaction at him being in the dark about something...clearly you are hiding something.
