Yes, I am aware that this is a community to have a word with your 'mun'. However, I have no such interest, so would please leave me alone and allow me to finish my letter? Because the Doctor is someone I would like to get in touch with and your whining about how we will never find him is neither wanted nor helpful, my dear.

My dear Doctor,

I hope my words will find you well and that life is treating you kindly. I have thought of you often since my mun has picked me up and I hope that your life, the existence in the (limited) headspace of a mun, is less depressing for you than it is for me. It's almost ironic that after spending years exiled on your lovely station, it is life and not the Cardassian Government that has found a way to maximize my discomfort.

So please forgive my tardiness, that I didn't contact you any sooner. Believe me when I say that it was for a lack of possibilities and not a lack of interest. I do miss our meetings for lunch (more than I miss the spicy pudding) and I would be delighted if we could meet some time in the near future.

Nothing would please me more.
