You're stepping away from your typical character type in attempting to persuade me. While I commend your dedication to my 'canon' and the fight against the Reapers, unless you are willing to take action or broaden the network I must admit to finding this attempt to control me very uncomfortable.  There are many things that need to be done that you do not seem to be willing to take care of. 

Unfortunately as it stands all I can do is attempt to dissuade you from this pursuit. If you truly are serious however, consider all of the options and perhaps touch base with the beginning as well. Knowing the ending to it all does no good if you are forgetting the origins.

I'm afraid that there is little we can do. They'll... control us (our writer, typist, mundane, or however you want to call it) however they like. Best thing for us to do, as much as I don't like it, is to sit back and wait things out.

Of that, I'm unsure. The idea does seem to be the odd running theme that they go with. I don't understand why, with everything we've had to endure, that they think it's fair to make things worse. There is only so much any person can stand to deal with.

Usually that kind of thing does help. Mine goes and makes collages of caps of scans, and alas for everyone those aren't high definition. Plus some of the artists are iffy. You got off lucky, with your comics.

I can see how that would end up troublesome. Artists, while capable of producing excellent work, seem prone to changing little details among a few other problems. It has been the source of some ... interesting responses.

Ah, that problem. My mun is familiar with that. But I am certain part of the reason this all exists here is for us to be able to vent about our mundanes. It's understandable with the given circumstances.

Yeah. Those tend to be loads of variations on the same few complaints. Frankly, mine's that I'm too much for mine. She can only handle me in small doses, and if there's not much chance of brawling.

Do you truly end up getting into fights that often? I do understand some mundanes try and avoid it but that seems like unusual reasoning.

Eh... depends. I do love fighting. Especially in cantinas - you know how local thugs get all territorial about their seats, and they'll pick on people they don't know? There's nothing quite like teaching them to ease up on that. And I like straight-out brawling against people who want me dead and not just with a broken bone or so, plus it's a lot of fun doing little safe one-on-one matches with padding and rules. Good way to make friends.

Plus I'm not afraid to get physical if mechanics mess up on my snubfighter - I don't hurt 'em, but I do scare them. That's a precision instrument and lives ride on its performance, they'd better do it right.

But I am military, and that means discipline, annoying though it is sometimes. I can separate out downtime from the rest. And mad as I've gotten, I've never just attacked anyone who wasn't trying to fight back like some of my wingmates. I like to say I don't, but I do know when to keep still and quiet like a good little pilot.

The control of one thing by another is simply the natural order of things. The strong control the weak. It is the obligation of the weak to rebel and force the strong to stay strong or be replaced.

I have seen these 'Reapers' you speak of. Over their infinite years of victory they grew complacent and weak. It was only natural they fell to make way for the strong.

I would disagree. They fell because of unity brought by the only person who could convince all the races that somehow, they needed to band together to stop a greater threat. It was not a matter solely of strength.

However, weak or not all life in the galaxy have a purpose. Some are great people whereas others are just normal civilians. There is no life born that exists merely to be controlled.

Conflict and chaos are the singular truths in the universe. Nobody is born simply to be controlled, no. They are born to challenge the right of the controller to the right they exercise.

I give your new-found peace a max of two years before some other threat throws your society back into chaos. Be it simple crime, or widespread rebellion. Peace is an ideal. Like all ideals, it is impossible to truly attain despite the striving toward said ideal.
