And before you begin trying to decide our fate, shouldn't you wait for the final chapters? Even if they've already been written you haven't read them and they haven't been released in a language that you know. Though if you insist that I go somewhere be sure that Stolas will be able to reach me, I'm sure business will thrive almost anywhere that we could go. After all humans always want to bring back those who have died.

Yes, but people do many things that they shouldn't. It's not my place to decide when someone is to die, it's my job to resurrect them on behalf of their loved ones.

Technically, I am a necromancer, although 'Abhorsen' is a more accurate title. I simply use it to keep the Dead from coming back into Life.

It seems that we have the same title but different jobs then. How do you keep them from being resurrected?

I force their spirits past the point where anything in life can draw them back, and bind the ones too powerful to be forced beyond the Ninth Gate.

Too many rogue necromancers are loose in the Old Kingdom. And powerful Dead can drag themselves out on their own.

I wasn't aware there were that many left. I wonder why Stolas never told me. [After all of his village Asutsuo was the only left alive, and that was only because they had planed to make an example of him.]

For the most part. Their heart will be stronger, as such the desires there-in will be amplified. [Their special characteristic would be enhanced, though there was no way to predict what that characteristic may be prior to the resurrection.]

Three years, the time paid by those resurrecting them. However, even then can be resurrected once again.

Though before I would be able to do anything you would need their corpse.

I'm a necromancer it's my job. It would be difficult to find customers if I hid from everyone. [Though granted there were certain people he didn't want to be found by, usually they avoided Slum Street.]

I only charge what the customer can afford, if you didn't have any money then it wouldn't have cost any money. Though why would they worry about you getting lost?
