reaction to being reserved

I don't really like the idea of going to live in a bubble under the ocean. It makes me feel pretty uneasy.

But if you're telling me that Lucas and Cynthia will be there? That does make me feel a little better. And my pokemon will be with me too, so I guess I'll just make the best of it. It'll be nice to meet some trainers that I would have not gotten to chance to meet otherwise, too.

I'm just glad I don't have any loose ends to take care of. This could be worse, I guess.

Oh, you're going to Vatheon? I see! It's actually a very nice place, once you get used to it. A little lacking in the rock department, obviously, but the company there was good.

It's nice to hear that there's good people down there. [ Fighting a bunch of Galactic Grunts is something she's kind of done with. ] But is it really that easy to get used to?

I guess that would just depend on the person, wouldn't it? I know plenty of people who absolutely loved it, and some that didn't. I know Cynthia thought it was interesting and kept studying the myths and the like there. It's what to expect from her, really.

You've met Cynthia?

[rarestone]

I have! I was Champion of the Hoenn League, after all. We've met in passing, mostly. We both ended up in Vatheon at the same time and chatted on a number of occasions. I can't say I knew her too well, though. She's a pretty mysterious woman.

[harpheart]

Hey, I remember that place! It wasn't so bad! I got pretty sick of getting wet all the time, though.

[ and all the dumb people. like silver. screw him. She quirks her eyebrow in a subconscious sign of slight annoyance. ]

Heh.. Just hope it goes as well for you! Or better, if that jerk's gone now..

Who're Lucas and Cynthia? Are they your friends?

What jerk are you talking about? [ She wants to make a future note, okay? You can't blame the girl. ]

Yeah, they're my friends. But more importantly, they're people I respect. Lucas is a really great trainer, and Cynthia's the champion of the Sinnoh region... or she was. I'm just glad she still takes care of the Elite Four business.

[harpheart]

He's just a really stupid guy. His name's Silver, and he's got stupid red hair, and he's a stupid thief.

[ he's also stupid if you couldn't tell. And Lyra is really buttmad. ]

Ah..?! The Sinnoh Champion's there?! [ pause. ] Wait, where's Sinnoh again? Is it anywhere near Johto?

If that stupid guy tries to steal my pokemon he'll be in for a world of hurt.

[ It's ok Dawn has someone she's buttmad about too... but Silver's a decent guy compared to him. ]

It's not that far away, actually. I've never been to Johto though. [ Wait a second. ] Are you from Johto?

[garchamp]

Come on, Dawn. Where's your sense of adventure? There's no sense in worrying with your Pokemon at your side.

I can't argue with that. My pokemon have always helped me through everything, after all.

[garchamp]

I'm the last person you need to tell that to.

I hope you don't mind if I ask for a rematch, by the way.

I know! I was just reminding myself out loud.

You know I'll never turn down a pokemon battle. It'll be fun.

[champ_coordinator]

I'm going to be there too and I'm on reserve. [He smiled.]

I'm Dawn. It's nice to meet you. Are you a pokemon trainer too?

[champ_coordinator]

I used to be, many years ago, when I first started.

But now I'm Hoenn Champion and leader of the Wallace cup.

[platinums]

Oh, I've heard of Hoenn, I've never been there before. Do you mind me asking what the Wallace cup is, though?

Pip-lup? [Oh, Piplup wanted to go too!]

[platinums]

Oh, a piplup! [ Dawn gets down on her knees so she won't scare it away. ] It's nice to meet you. Is your trainer around?

[littleblue_penguin]

[He points to Dawn. He is your Piplup. You look a lot like his trainer.]

[ Cue a very confused Dawn. ] Do you want me to be your trainer? [ It's not like she wouldn't accept but she's never met a wild pokemon that willingly gives themselves to a trainer. ]

Oh, it won't be that bad. Least of all if you know people who are coming as well.

That's certainly true. I guess I worry too much, sorry for troubling you.

Oh, no, don't apologize. I'm apprehensive about it, too. It might be hard to go rock hunting in a giant bubble.

But I know Wallace, Cynthia, and a few others will be there, too. So all in all, it won't be that bad.

Rock hunting...? [ Seems like a weird priority to her, but she's heard of weirder. ]
