Dear spirits, you are in denial...and seem to be enjoying it too. Haven't even considered how strange it is for me, have you? To have this existence, and then realize that you're objectively not the real, canonical one. And perhaps it's only because you're infectious, but it is my existence still...I have enough of an attachment to it.  I'm not about to give it up so easily.

And you're considering dropping me off at a library that Wan Shi Tong himself would've been proud of? Or in an Ark traversing the stars? Or someplace else entirely? Given your indecisiveness, might I suggest just leaving me where I am right now?  Someone needs to actually lead a revolution to victory....

Now I have to wonder how it works. Are you blocking chakra points? Hm. Possible. Though I suppose it is possible you somehow shatter spiritual connections, if you do have spirits helping you. From what I understand, they work on a morality humans, bender or not, don't fathom.

I apologize if I gave the impression that was in itself terrible; a library does sound...pleasant. [And Amon's voice lowers slightly into something warmer.] All that knowledge at one's finger tips, and Wan Shi Tong is a particularly great spirit.... If I was not in the middle of leading a revolution such a library would sound more ideal. But to be plucked from the Cause? It is not ideal.

Well, you are a rational one, aren't you? How refreshing.

There are indeed so many ways to approach a problem...but then there comes the time to act, and one must choose a course of action and stick to it. Perhaps there can be deviation from the path, but that is rare, and such a deviation must be again carefully considered.

At least I have only myself to worry about. [A difficult task already, but he's not about to say that aloud to General Iroh.] I have yet to teach anyone my abilities, or find anyone else other than Avatar Aang who can do the same as I. I should say I'm in a rather unique position to observe how the mass practice of bending has been abused, and do my utmost best to avoid those mistakes.

What is it, sister? [Amon's voice is soft, especially as he tries to place this particular Equalist, but he's drawing a blank on where he met her before. He assumes she's a fellow Equalist, given her reference to the Revolution and referring to him as 'Sir.']

[OOC: I'm guessing 'brothers and sisters' is a common enough greeting among the Equalists, though I imagine 'comrade' works just as well. But Amon always calls the Lt. 'Lieutenant.']

The Avatar has arrived earlier than expected, and we are accelerating our plans. None of that included her foolish demand for a personal deal with me. I received it, but did not accept; simply went over to explain a few ground rules to her. Left her unscathed. [But spirits, did she look frightened....]
