finally joining the migration. or something.

Hey hey hey.

Yes, I have been very noisy. But you're the one who's hell-bent on the Camelot thing just because of that show you've been watching lately. It's pretty obvious by the username, you know.

Look, it's a long way to go before I become queen, alright? I'm still kind of getting the king to notice me. Or maybe he's noticed, but he's surprisingly as much of a prude as Marcus is.

... Still, I'm glad to be back. ♥

xoxo,
Nausy

PS. OKAY WHY DID YOU CHANGE MY FACE?

Mm. I don't know whether that's reassuring or not.

You don't have to flatter me, Marc. Though I suppose it makes sense; my family tends to age well.
notvanquished: (i saw what you did there)

You would be glad to know, Grandfather, that your efforts will not be in vain. And Mother, she... she's a great queen.

[laughs] Grandmother insists her side does it even better.

... That's good to hear. Maybe this time around she can do it back in Airyglyph. Or however things end up by the time we're through; Marcus is planning to take a more strategic role this time around, I think, if only because of the rune. So your father's probably going to be the most visible face of things. If a new country forms, I think there's a good chance he'll be on the throne.

Does she? Well, then, I suppose you're going to look good for a very long time.
notvanquished: (this is my serious princely face)

[personal profile] notvanquished 2012-07-08 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
You're right, Grandfather. My parents are the king and queen of New Aquor. The name's not very original, they say, but it's the principle that matters more. Though surprisingly, the Church still stands... some things are difficult to do away with, I suppose.

Some days I'd rather not "look good," really. It gets tiring being followed around by a fan club.

[personal profile] albus_albel 2012-07-10 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
Hm. Well, I don't have a problem with the Church, just a few of the individuals being pompous stuffed shirts. I've always considered that the Sphere employees weren't really the gods they claimed to be in the first place.

You too, hm? I think it must be a family curse. The ladies don't seem to have it quite as bad, but that may be because their fans know they aren't too nice to make them keep their distance.
notvanquished: (okay lemme think about it)

[personal profile] notvanquished 2012-07-10 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
[shrugs, and when he says the next bits, it's obvious he doesn't really believe any of it] Hard to stop the Aprisians when they believe that it was Apris himself who came to destroy the heretics. Him and his consort - Irisa, the estranged moon goddess. Apparently you don't see her hanging around with her sisters because she follows her own path, to be with him.

Yes, it's a family curse on the Nox side, unbroken for generations. [chuckles]

albus_albel: (Hmm?)

[personal profile] albus_albel 2012-07-10 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
... Seriously? Did they miss the part where he was here to kill everyone?

It certainly seems that way. Apparently my father had the same problem as well. Though your grandmother acquired a fanclub awfully quickly.
notvanquished: (laughter springs from the heart)

[personal profile] notvanquished 2012-07-10 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
Actually... Apris, the stories say, was reborn a mortal. The Church authorities are still arguing about the various personas he'd seemed to have taken up in the course of history, but the form that was confirmed to be him was that of a Glyphian soldier, a member of the Storm Brigade. But he seemed to have shown up from out of nowhere; his name isn't on the official records. Irisa's mortal identity, on the other hand, was identified to be Iri Cavanagh, an Aquarian runologist. Of course, at the end of the war, they both just... well, disappeared. Gone back to the sky, or something.

[a knowing smile] Mother finds that story particularly funny. And she insists that the runologist's name was Eri, not Iri as the Aprisians have adapted.

[now he laughs] Her most popular story is still how she beat up a Black Brigade soldier. Then the fan club - but she says it's not as amusing as your Surferio experience.

Huh. All right, that makes... a bit more sense. Except for the part where the story's managed to get so very corrupted in just a generation. They're going to make the Terrans think we're all primitives again. [He grins a little.]

[He rolls his eyes.] She never gets tired of that one, does she? Marcus had one, too.
notvanquished: (i have a bad feeling about this)

[personal profile] notvanquished 2012-07-10 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
It makes them feel better, I suppose, rather than admitting that there are other worlds out there. I mean, Lord Fayt's arrival on a starship? They've managed to twist the story enough that he's now historically known as the Emissary of Apris, sent as an advance party for the sun god's coming. [rolls eyes] Aunt Khrista's not particularly thrilled.

She says yours was more exciting, if only because she was there. Grandmother, she's so... perky. I know Mother got it from her, but at her age she's still a tireless ray of sunshine.

[a sigh] Honestly, it's like these people don't even talk to their parents. More of the people who keep saving them are from off-world than not.

[smiles a little] That sounds like my Morning Star, all right. And mine wasn't that exciting, really. I'm afraid I got mobbed by some overexcited Featherfolk girls.
notvanquished: (uncertainty lies with every step)

[personal profile] notvanquished 2012-07-11 06:54 am (UTC)(link)
Well, having a "higher power" around seems like a good excuse for not getting something done, I think. [shrug]

Featherfolk? [he swallows nervously] So, ah, I guess I'll have to avoid the Sanmite region...
