Look, I'm not sure about the rest of it.. about my story not happening yet or happening differently. I might not know Balthier or Basch, Fran or Lady Ashe. Or anyone else from Ivalice that shows up.

I might not even be ready to make Reks proud.

But we've got this, mun. One way or the other, we can be the pilots of our own destiny. If I can help change the course of history, I should try, no matter what way it ends up going down.
