A maker's word is law. There is no way a child born of his or her blood can resist an order. No matter how old or stubborn. I was nigh a thousand years old when I created Eric and he fell into his life as a vampire with little travesty. Then again, vikings were much more savage than modern day vampires. I suppose the transition was easier.
