[Light holds out a hand for the tiny to sniff. This isn't what he'd imagined the child of Amaterasu looking like, but he shrugs it off. Gods take on whatever form they feel like taking on, he supposes.]

[Oh? Someone knows his mother? Chibi leans forward and sniffs Light's hand, tail wagging.]

[Have an absent minded ear skritch while Light muses out loud with a pleased grin.]

You aren't at all what I thought you'd look like. It's strange that we even have these pre-conceived notions about the gods, isn't it?

[Chibi barks, whether agreeing or not is yet to be seen, but he is sure enjoying the ear scratching! ♥]

[Oh? Have more ear scratching, Chibi. Absent minded ones ofc, for as long as Light has an audience in this admittedly cute little godlet anyway.]

You're not so bad, are you? Your company is much more interesting than that of most people I can think of. Think about all the things you must've seen- I don't suppose you'd be willing to share your stories with me, would you?

[Curious whine despite lovely ear scratching. Stories?]

[Light seems amused by this, perhaps even slightly distracted for there is no more ear skritching.]

That's right, stories. I can't begin to imagine what it must be like to see the world through your perspective. Mine pales in comparison.

[Beloved ear scratching, where did you go? Chibi nudges Light's hand with his head with a whine as if to say "what gives?". This human was nice but he sure was chatty.]

[He raises a brow at that demand. Puppy and god in one body. It's difficult to remember that.]

[Back to more gentle ear scratching, and head pets.]

So what's it like, commanding the power of the sun?

[The power of the sun was something his mother did so it was pretty normal for him. As if answering the curious questioning Chibi let out a big yawn and lazy tail wagging.]

[Light laughs softly at that.]

Do anything for long enough, and it all becomes boring, huh? I guess we have a lot more in common than I thought.

[He takes his hand away from Chibi's head for a moment and searches in his backpack to bring out an apple. He doesn't know if Chibi wants to eat any, but he holds it out in offering.]

[Chibi perks up at that. He leans forward, snuffling at the apple before he starts to lick at it. It doesn't seem to do anything though despite it does taste like food.]

[Light sets the apple down for the god puppy to play around with. Now that it's covered in puppy drool, Light does not want it anymore.]

Sorry it's not anything more substantial. I don't know what you'd consider appetizing.

[Though yes, he will be laughing at the image of Amaterasu and family wolfing down kibbles.]

[He pushes at the apple with his nose... and it rolls! Food he can play with! With a happy bark Chibi starts pawing and pushing at the apple with his nose across the floor.]

[Light settles back, watching Chibi play. It must be nice to be so easily captivated by something so mundane, and ordinary.]

They really are quite multipurpose, aren't they?

[He laughs at his own little joke.]

I'm a little jealous.

[He barks happily then tries to pounce it and the apple shoots off in a direction. He really should stop playing with his food...but it's so fun!]
