On the subject of teasing.

Yes, it is fun isn't it? Creating this - dare I say - Wilde goose chase, riddling him in circles. I like a woman who can spin a tale, how satisfying that you should already know that.

Oh dear, did I just give a hint away? Whoopsie.

You're baiting him. We're baiting him. I think I might be enjoying this quite deeply.

It isn't anything. I'm not- [like you and Sherlock. She doesn't understand these games and she doesn't want to. She just doesn't want her friend to get hurt.]

[She physically recoils, drawing away. She'd really liked that gentleness "Jim from IT" had. It's horrible seeing it now.] I don't want to play.

Stop it.

[She takes a step back. She hates that she does because it feels like a weakness- but she isn't Sherlock. She isn't John. She's just Molly Hooper who likes cats and spends her days around dead people.]

[Her eyes close. He's too close and she can't look at him; she can't let herself be fooled by him too.]

Leave us alone. Leave all of us alone.

[If she could move she'd flinch away, but with his hands over her and his body so close it feels like he's everywhere now. So she freezes, clenches her hands and wishes she were as brave as John, or as clever as Sherlock. Then she'd know what to say to him to make him go away.

She says nothing though. She won't give him the pleasure of hearing her ask him to go away again.]
