Right, so even though you haven't played me through a journal in... how long, again? Almost a year? And no prospects to put me in a game anytime soon, you still felt the need to make the journal now?

Yeah, yeah, whatever makes you happy. At least you still give me some one-on-one attention. More than some of your other muses can say. Think I'll shut up and be grateful for what I've got.

Mind reading. Not something we run into much in my world, but I've had my horizons broadened with some of the shit my mun's thrown at me. Annoying shit, that.

Also if I was from your world we would be on the same side. Really any of my friends and I would be. Except for Mark and Luke but I'm not sure they could even be considered friends.

Interesting thing about sides in my world; they tend to be damned flexible things, all in all. Political weapons, it can happen. One day you're enemies, next day your leaders have sat down and talked, and now you're friends. Or, of course, vice versa.

My mundane's wondering, though. What canon're you from?

Ah then we would be at an impasse. I'm not a tool for the government's use, so my loyalties would be the same no matter what.

Apparently my canon is called "FreakAngels" It is a graphic-novel quality web comic.

Personal loyalties are one thing, but tool -- well, it's a harsh word, but not an inappropriate one. If you serve something larger from yourself, you give up something of your own motivations. Tough, but there it is.

I can understand that but maybe my issue is I don't have much love for my own government.

It's the name my friends and I decided on for our group so to speak. I guess you could consider it like a ninja clan in your world. Because we sort of banded together because we had the same abnormalities.

Of course, you could say I'm a bit biased in that matter; my government's my own family, after all. That helps matters.

That would create a bias but it also means you and your family aren't the greedy politicians only looking out for yourselves.

We even have different eye colors from most humans. Which is actually similar to some clans, right?

Yeah, we leave that to the civilian governments. A ninja's duty, when you get right down to it, is a pretty simple thing.

Heh... well, eye color is one thing. Different eyes, full stop, that's when you're really getting into bloodline questions. There's plenty of different abilities that distinguish our clans.
