[ he smiles, looking tired. ]

At least it wouldn't be anything new and different.

[ Peeta sighs, and falls silent until the sharp sound of a knuckle cracking breaks it up ]

[She hates how everything is so careful and measured between them, now] I wanted things to be different.

I don't think I can be there, Katniss. There's nothing to keep me in check.

I want to. But I could kill someone. Like I killed Mitchell.

[ he stares at her for a long time ]

[Artika had been a useful person to mimic, though, since at least some of the more peaceful dinosaurs were more confused than enraged by the reptile-bird-lady than anything.]
