That would not be ideal. Quarians were not particularly appetizing in my cycle, and there wasn't much meat on their bones - the best option in terms of a meal would be the humans.
[You may not be good enough for a proper facial response, or even words, but this body language? Says 'screw you, Vakarian.']
It was an awfully well set up joke, then.
And not funny at all.

Ah, yes. I forgot about that setback. Though I suppose she could have eaten you instead - that suit may be cumbersome, but it would help her outlast most of us if we ran out of food. [Why is he still talking about this?]
There are much more of your kind than other species on the ship - it only makes sense. Though of course, those fish of yours would have to go first. [It would have given him an excuse to eat those things, at least.]
Going feral sounds like an unpleasant place to be.
It was? I still do not understand humour in this cycle, it seems. Still, it does bear consideration - a scenario such as that is within the realm of possibility.
Yeah. I'm glad that you guys will be okay. That- [Shepard clears her throat.] That I didn't screw everything up in the end.

Heh. Still, it beats the alternatives. [Turning everyone into weird synthetic hybrids... screw that.] At least this way, galactic civilization can recover. You guys are still yourselves. And maybe I'm still alive in all of that rubble.
It isn't a perfect ending. But it's a good start.
