[After being nudged out into the open, this strange creature is a little reluctant to move from her mun's side. So many strange things happened right bfore appearing here.

Whining softly, Nina paces a circle and tries to hunker down out of sight.]

[Panting softly, she tilts her head. Should she stay here then?]

[She doesn't deny him, not moving towards or away from him. Which is as close to permission as she'll give.]

Right...

[He's Force-Sensitive and can pick up on a lot through life energy, which is the only reason he does walk on his knees a little closer, and very slowly and gingerly tries to reach under her bangs and daub at the damp fur under her eye.]

[aaaand by the time he gets that close he's trembling because augh augh AUGH AUGH picking up on life energy isn't all good.]

[This wolf doesn't like strange things that much.

But at the same time, he's also human. And, well, wolves are curious. They just don't risk their lives for it, unlike a human, or him.

So Sean really really wants to investigate this human-dog, even though it's much bigger than him. So he circles a little bit, before padding just a little closer, in sight...

This dog-human smells like he smells like a wolf-human, but it's not all the same. He can't pin it down, and he sneezes in frustration at this, before freezing with the closest thing a wolf can have for an 'oh shit' expression. It had to have heard him. Was he going to get eaten now? Granted, the dog-human stunk of fear, probably like the way he was just now...]

[Nina doesn't really know the fear-smell, but she definitely notices him now and tilts her head to stare at him. Lifting her nose to sniff at him.]

[Sean holds still for a few moments, and then his fur puffs out. He's not that big or old - the equivalent of fifteen human years, which makes a young wolf.

After a moment of looking fierce with raised fur, he grumbles something that's like a growl, but not quite, and then pads forward to sniff right back at the dog-human. He's eaten dog before, during the worst times, but he wouldn't try for this thing. Never. It would kill him dead, and he liked being alive.

[ Oh, so that's the game they're playing.

Okay then.

Toothless will just cross his eyes. ]

[Can anyone tell if her eyes can cross?]

[She notices the trembling and licks his fingers, not understanding what's wrong.]

[Surprisingly, probably to him anyway, Nina tries to make herself small and whines. She's not looking for trouble and is harmless overall.]

[Luke drops the cloth with a wince.]

-I'm fine, just... yeah.

[so yeah hands-and-knees to pick it back up.]

[Yeah, he gets the look, and a sudden flash of regret; he's not so sure he'd be able to help out, even though it's exactly what he would offer...what he is offering...to do.

Still. He can't just walk away, either.

He tilts his head as he regards her.]

[After a few moments, and when Sean decides that the dog-human's not going to attack him, he edges a little closer, and then some more, about a yard in front of her. She doesn't look like any wolf or dog or human he's seen. It's unsettling. He grumbles, and then gets a bigger smell.

Weird.

If she's really that scared, than this deserves a pawing at--not touching her, just poking his paw out in front of him and making a motion as if touching her will make her make more sense.]
