Garrus might still be stuck on the Citadel, and Tali would have returned to the Flotilla. Liara would still be at that Prothean dig site... We'd all potentially be dead by now.

I wouldn't be a Spectre. I... Boy, I don't even know where I'd be. Maybe a teacher for biotics, if Saren hadn't completely destroyed the galaxy of course.

And if Saren had succeeded... No opportunity for Cerberus to screw everything up for us, no SR2, no EDI, no... Well, lots of things would be shit. And I don't think the galaxy could stand a chance against the Reapers.

... And that, kiddos, is why the Commander is always an ideal person to drink to.
