Well, it's been quite a while, hasn't it? There's no need to be so nervous.

I'll grant this is impulsive. You ought to do a bit more reading up on the place before any final decisions and not be so swayed by the urging of a single person. It's quite different than what the both of us are used to.

If I may make one request, though. I would advise that you don't allow the events of my life to spill over into these other worlds. As thrilling as it may be for you, these are our lives. I am adept enough to handle whatever you throw at me, but I will not allow lives to be risked at the hands of the monsters of my reality.

And if you refuse me that, at the very least don't blind me. Yes, yes, there are a million jokes to be made and some things are unavoidable, but really, it's starting to get ridiculous.

I'd be lying if I said it wasn't nice to see you around here, Diana. I just hope your mun at least grants your request. [ She doesn't want to say they probably won't and assume muns are all as awful as her's. ]

[She sighs.] I hope so too, but I admit I have my doubts.

I guess I can't blame you. Mun's aren't the most agreeable..

How have you been, Cassie?

[ Snort. ] Yeah, they do.

I've been good. I'm on a ship called the Barge. It's sort of an alternative prison. I'm supposed to work with an inmate one on one, but I haven't been assigned anyone yet, though there's been plenty of excitement in the meantime. [ And that's an understatement. ]

Oh, but how do you really keep the events of one life from spilling into the lives of everyone else once you'rre living around them?

If I have learned anything, it's that you do not. But that has yet to stop me from trying.

I know the feeling. Ha, I didn't think it was even something I'd ever have to worry about! Guess that goes to show how things change.

So... what exactly are you trying to keep from spreading around the worlds? Nothing that devours souls or controls bodies?

Depending on the timeline, it would be exactly that. Several inter-dimensional wars, gods. My main concern is a creature called Genocide and after her, the Black Lanterns.

Oh boy, why does no one ever have a nice, sweet invasion by aliens who really really like hugs?

I wouldn't worry too much. Whatever ends up happening, we'll figure it out together! There's not much choice outside of doing that, but I have faith people can rally and solve almost anything when they work together.
