Of course an ant doesn't have quarrel with a boot. Have you ever tried to stomp on an ant with a boot? Boots have those...lines...grooves on the bottom. I mean, even if you stamp on them ten times, they eventually just wiggle out. They can lift, what? Fifty times their weight? I don't think they have issues with boots.

Unless they have super special boots for aliens, then that really makes no sense.
