BEFORE getting mindlessly drunk this time.
Mun, that was incredible! A great game! Tonight, celebrations are mandatory and you know that. Slacking off and going to bed early is not permitted. Though I suggest you unwrap yourself of all those flags first. You are aware that one of them is brother's...? Why, yes. Of course I'm serious. Why wouldn't I? Our team did a great job out there! Contrary to previous claims, no blood had to be spilled in order to break Greece's defenses. It's time to praise this victory. Now get ready to indulge in boisterous cheerfulness!

Congrats Germany!

Though as for your question... Probably. But more importantly: There will be beer. [Lots of it.]

And silly man, I'm asking you dance with me. If I've asked you after you got a few beers in you, you'll think I took advantage of you.

Dance, you say? [He looks at her, hesitating, but considering that option. Either that, or he's pulling out a mental manual on how to dance.] Hn. I think I could try. [But afterwards: Beer.]

[She gives a rather serious nod, then bounces on her tip toes to give him a kiss on his cheek..which misses and lands on his chin.] Anyhow! Party!

[Oh. And don't criticize his celebration manners. He likes gettin-- HEY! Okay. Now he flinches away. Giving you one of those glares for assaulting him like that.] America! [He's not telling you to behave. But it's in his tone.]

That's what I was saying! Geez...one figure skater goes off the deep end and everybody thinks you're completely ruthless.

You... You have no idea how many political discussions the game yesterday had caused over here in Europe during the past week. I'm... Glad it ended as a good and friendly game after all.

Mm, Prussia made me aware of it. But...Listen, stuff like that always happens. I'm sure I'm gonna hear no end of it whenever I go against China. So don't think I don't understand.I'm glad it all ended okay.
And just for the record, don't take smack talk too seriously, okay? I'm a rough tumble girl, yeah?

I don't mind it as long as it's merely done in a harmlessly teasing way. That's part of the sport. But there are certain boundaries. And if it's not only the opponents, but also your own people speaking up against you something is a bit off. The Greece talking badly about us is one thing, but German political groups demanding that we hand Greece the victory without a proper fight, only to make up for the hardships the country had been through or accusing my people of nationalsocialistic behavior because they dare to cheer for their team is nothing I can approve of in regards of sports.
The Euro runs under the motto Respect, not Euro Crisis. But if we fail to respect ourselves, how are we supposed to respect others?

Seriously, we'll all play fiercely, then when the game is done we'll go over Italy's place for pizza and ice cream. It'll be fun!

Pizza and ice cream, you say? Well. We could do that, I guess.

That's the spirit!
