...mundane, this is why could never be a student of mine. You lack discipline, time management skills and most importantly, dedication. You have a job, you're on your way back to school and now you're having second thoughts because you want more free time? Was two years not enough for you?

Mundane, you must understand that part of growing up involves doing things you don't want to do, however we both know a part of you wants to go back, so this statement doesn't completely apply. You combat indecision by staying true to one decision, so how can you find difficulty in following the decision you want to do? You have an academic mind with much potential; why are you so hesitant to tap into it? I loathe wasted potential over almost everything else, mundane; I sincerely wish you follow through with your schooling.

But of course; academics are a fundamental part of anypony's life, humans included. Mundane is just being difficult and refusing to make things easy on himself. Surely, you can understand that I'm just providing my support, regardless of whether or not he accepts it.

The boy still needs direction and the willpower to stay in that direction. He's been lacking in both, but you say leaving him as he is, to trust he can move along on his own, will be for the better?
