We don't really use those terms. Even in the universe where he actually does say he loves me. [Because mafia!Mithos doesn't, and despite Tori understanding why, it takes a lot to hide how much that stings. Especially when she's doing so much for his happiness, like pretending Jeb doesn't exist when she's around Mithos. It's hard having all these memories at once--stupid meta place.]

Tori isn't usually one that needs so much reassurance about being wanted and loved, but maybe she'd despise him wanting to smother her and hide her away from the world less if he'd just say those words. It's getting to a point where "I care for you a lot" isn't enough anymore, and Yuan isn't really helping the case by saying that Mithos could never feel something like that.]

Yeah, it's pretty pathetic, huh? I didn't think I'd ever fall to this level for anyone, but Mithos sure is special~

Love can be pathetic. [But that didn't make it wrong, necessarily. People kept telling him over and over that Kaori was dangerous for him, that she didn't deserve the kindness he gave her no matter how many times he told them off.

And Anjyl was just something else, even though she frustrated him with how often she kept secrets from him; right when he thought she was finally opening up, he would be dealt with yet another challenge to his trust for her.]

But that's what works for you. I can't pass judgment on what you feel because they're not my feelings, they're yours. Maybe he's special because when he finally says that you know he'll mean it.

Let's just say things have gone way more smoothly for me in this department before. [But, again, not everyone can be like Jeb. It's a really unrealistic expectation.] But for how much of a shit he can be, Mithos and I have really good moments together too.
