Dear Mun,
Now, now! I see you putting ideas in their heads--or trying, anyway. Don't get ahead of yourself, as much as you want that to be resolved. I'd like it, too, but we can't do anything about it right now. We just... have to hope that they both grow up and act like men their ages. What do you mean "or not"? You and your love of the dramatic. That doesn't work very well in life!
Also, I'm not sure that laughing is the right response to that kind of thing, as funny an image as it is.

[Anna, meet your clueless derp of a son.]
I wasn't asking you to fix anything I was in.
no subject
[But the derp is very endearing. Come into momma's arms. Just be prepared for squish!hugs.]
And it's about you because your father is not very good at explaining things when he wants to be evasive at the same time, which is apparently causing problems for both of you.
no subject
[Sort of. Badly. That's not the point!]
Though I guess I can't argue that he's bad at explaining things. But I still don't get what any of this has to do with you. I don't even know you. Why would you have to help us fix anything?
[She seems just vaguely familiar, but one glimpse of Anna's picture in Kratos's locket at a point when he'd been in complete denial is not the same as meeting the woman in real life.]
tmw i need to actually draw icons
Ah. Well! It's... Kind of... I just like to help where I can. But there are other reasons, too.
[How does one introduce themselves as someone's mother...?]
yes, yes you do~ [/enablesencouragesenables]
I appreciate that, I guess, but I'm not sure what you could do. It's... Things are complicated.
[Lloyd's own hand finds its way to his neck, and... whoa, suddenly her pose brings on a wave of deja vu. He looks at her again.]
Do I...?
I will... probably start on icons after I get back from donating. |D If I don't just go to sleep.
Aah...
[Aaaand back to him, hands folding in front of her lap. Wow, this is actually a little more awkward than she expected! Just imagine what it could be like in a game.]
I wouldn't expect you to remember; you were very young.
Who needs sleep? 8D
Or what would be her canon point?Either way, yes, so very, very awkward.][Lloyd perks up.]
Wait, you knew me when I was young?
Me after donating blood 8D Providing I don't just pass out while I'm there!
And a very unfortunate CP because whoops? For now, it's more basically awkward.]From birth, even.
[It'll be a good example of the family derp, either way.]
Haha, good point. Please don't pass out. ^^;
Poor Anna. Poor Kratos.][Stunned surprise flashes onto his face. Surprise followed by a flicker of something dawning on him.]
You knew me... when I was born?
[Give it time, he's getting there.]
So you...?
[So close!]
You knew my mom?
[...
Oh Lloyd. Why couldn't you get some genes besides the derpy ones?]
I don't plan to. |D I just hope I get enough out of what I eat. ;;
Gonna have to teach the boy some more "powers of observation" skills. His eventual answer just prompts her to laugh a little; there's no way not to. She covers her mouth for a second, shaking her head.]Better than most people.
[Okay, that might be a little teasing. But.]
If only because she's me.
[c:]
1/?
2/?
3/?
4/4 Done!
[Laughing and teasing... Yeah, that was it. Though it doesn't explain why she feels vaguely familiar. But his mom's been dead for fourteen years. What would she be doing here?
Funny how easy it is to forget about time not mattering in places like this.]You had me going there.
Awh, Lloyd. Poor boy.
[Her look of confusion mirrors his earlier, brown eyes wide and brows lifted. Cheeks pink, and she's not sure how to continue for a moment. But she relaxes, as does her expression, and she laughs gently.]
This place isn't exactly confined to logic, Lloyd.
[...That whole "my baby's grown up" thing hasn't quite settled in yet, regardless.]
no subject
Even if she has a point about this place. Unconsciously his hand goes to his neck again.]
I guess... I'm not sure. How come you're sure that I'm your son?
no subject
She laughs gently.]
Mother's intuition.
[That's a reasonable excuse, right? It sounds better than "60 hours of gameplay by the mun".]
no subject
[Lloyd didn't grow up with a mom, and neither did his two best friends. Unfamiliar with the way that moms know everything]
no subject
Also the heir of all of the derp.]The gut feeling a woman gets about her children.
no subject
[Not arguing, just... how does that work?]
no subject
Moms, however, are usually right when it comes to their kids.
[It works in mysterious ways, that's how.]
no subject
Yeah. You're right. I'm still not sure if we're really related, but you know? I don't think I'd mind if we were. I guess there's only one way to find out, though, huh?
no subject
I cannot simply force Lloyd to trust me again. It wouldn't be right.
no subject
Trust doesn't come with force, and no one's saying you should force anything. Just be honest. And don't be evasive.
no subject
[He might be bringing it on himself, but he can't help it. All of this has been on his mind a lot!]
no subject
I'm sure there's some way to do it without upsetting Mithos. He's from earlier in the timeline, isn't he?

[He has reasons beyond his guilt for the way he's behaving with Lloyd.]
no subject
[More of a joke than honest statement. In the meantime, reaches for his hand. She can't really say anything else because it's a delicate enough situation.]
no subject
[Really, he admires that about both of them. But in this case, it might get Lloyd hurt...]
no subject
[Which she is, of course. Bombarding captors with questions and all. Not so good in this situation, it sounds like.]
But... Hm. Could you explain it a little more? Even though it won't really help in-game...
no subject
Very well. Mithos is currently from a point in time prior to when I made my intentions to aid Lloyd clear. Lloyd is from before that time as well. While it makes the situation with Lloyd... uncomfortable, as things stand, Mithos will still listen to my advice. Even though Lloyd now knows that Mithos is Yggdrasill, there are still things which must remain hidden. Mithos is beginning to question his methods, and I will not risk causing his hatred of humanity to flare up again just so I can justify myself to Lloyd.

And what point do you stand in? But I can see how remaining quiet could be for the best. [She sighs, setting her temple against his shoulder.] Not ideal at all, though. Maybe eventually...
