'Creepy' is such an inelegant word, my dear, even if its accuracy can't be argued. At least, I think so.

I'm hardly that bad, after all. I could do worse, but I do have limits - lack of morals notwithstanding.

Inelegant, musician? There's a certain power in the unsettling. You should take advantage.

My, yes, that would be something to take advantage of, wouldn't it? But I do like to keep some shred of - well, class, perhaps - around.

Perhaps humanity would be a better descriptor? [ he shrugs. most of the people he works with seem to kick up a fuss about his total lack of emotion when it comes to atrocious things - perpetrating (in interesting cases) or discovering them. ]

Oh, there really isn't much to tell. I'm classed as a hero, or so they say. [ really amused ] They have terrible taste, but I can take advantage of that. It's nice to have good relations with the media. [ read: useful ]

Most of them are too busy playing to be any real threat to anyone. When a psychic ape is beating out the rest, there's a problem.

Those don't sound particularly hard, nor fast.

Perhaps they don't mind? Far from it for me to be telling people what to do with their lives, though if they're running around in costumes they probably have a better grasp on its direction than I would. Or worse. I'm not sure.

If I can't hide the bodies or explain their deaths, I don't kill them. It's quite simple. [ basically: whatever is most convenient. ]

She seems to be equally horrified and fascinated by how much of a terrible person I am here. [ serene smile ] I can't say I don't mind the scrutiny of my motivations, but it doesn't bother me too much.

Terrible? She's horrified? If she's worried about it, she might want to stay away.

Well, that's exaggerating a little on my part, I have to say. [ waves a hand! cheerful.... ] Though I do admit my moral standing leaves something to be desired - at least according to the company I usually keep.

But working with heroes does tend to grate, sometimes.

They make such a fuss about my methods. It's rather irritating, truth be told.

This is why I prefer to make myself scarce.

Sadly, my powers aren't quite as extensive as yours, and I'm forced to work with people most of the time. I don't mind it, usually, but good lord, some of these people are quite attached to their morals.

A wise decision, really.

You would be surprised how many of them fall short of that, from time to time, under the right circumstances.

Pressure does cause interesting things to happen, doesn't it?

There's merit in it, I suppose. It makes things interesting. [ He laughs ] Imagine if they didn't have fellows like me around! They would be painfully bored.

Such a shame that so few of them think creatively when it comes to problem-solving. Sadly, most seem to think that the solution to every problem is to punch it.

The world would be a dreadfully bland sort of place if it was all black and white, hm?
