It depends on what the new world is like. If nothing else, they'll always need reporters. I can only hope that it's a job you're going to keep around.
Do you control your men's men? You can't control everyone. Where there's rule, there is corruption; how will you make sure it's not happening? Will you keep your councils more open than our current council does so that we can see what's happening if you can't?
I didn't ask what you would do with them. I ask, what will you do? What will Amon do when he's in charge of Republic City, other than get rid of those in power? How will you deal with the sudden lack of staff at our hospitals and power plants - and how will you deal with it around the world, when he ends bending?
I'm well aware of your ideals, and I know you'd as soon waver from those as die; I have burns to prove it. What I question is your ability to deal with the aftermath of your goals!
