You can't be. I refuse to even let you see my footprints! I stopped a man who couldn't be reasoned with, who was going to destroy the whole world! I only did it because the only other way was killing him.
The way I hear it, you're just a bully! You're taking bending away from good people, people who can be reasoned with! You could have talked this out. You didn't have to resort to this.

The morality of individual benders doesn't concern me. It's bending itself that's the source of it all... and so it's bending that I'm going to destroy.
You shouldn't be getting rid of benders at all! Don't you understand that you're ruining the world's balance? Bending isn't bad or it isn't exist! You have to take these things on a case by case basis, or people will die. Because bending can hurt people, but it's saved lives too.
It's hurt far more than it's saved. Unless you can find me a list of all those that bending has saved... and unless that list is longer than that of those who died in the Fire Nation's war...
I died once, and I was only brought back because of bending. Katara used Waterbending and spirit water to bring me back to life! Bending has so many uses that can help people. And we did what we could to spare as many people during the war. Don't talk as if you were there. The Fire Nation did use bending to kill people. But they were bad people! And we were good people, and we used bending to stop them without killing them! I stopped a volcano to save a town! We've all done so much good with our bending, and you can't tell me that my successors haven't been doing the same.
