(no subject)

You know, mun, I don't usually like to encourage this sort of thing, since any time I'm active in a game, you always have to make my life a living hell in the process. But when you spend the good part of a drive thinking up the ways in which a crossover with my canon and Scooby Doo could make an effective case for me, I think it's seriously time you consider finding another place for me to hang out.

But NO HORROR GAMES. Sheesh. At least you don't like killing off your characters.

Unfortunately, games that don't involve horror in some capacity are distressingly rare, as my own typist is rediscovering in the process of attempting to find a second game. To her credit, she doesn't wish to send me to a game of that nature.

And here I thought my mun had some weird ideas.

Unfortunately, the game I'm currently in is currently heavily reliant on this "slice of life" and rapidly running out of the very same. It's meant to have a mystery element, but my typist has yet to be informed of the results of my last investigation.
want_a_vacation: (Awkward)

He has as much internal snark as an AA character, so I've taken to using colored brackets for him :3

[personal profile] want_a_vacation 2012-06-15 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
(Does he really think that would discourage someone with his canon?)

Well, at least it's better than being AU'd into some sort of bad end?
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth glances over his shoulder disdainfully, teacup in hand. (Do I look as though I care?)

Anime, Wright, but I digress. Your typist already has a game in mind?
beretspin: (Tricking you is a piece of cake)

It's, like, kind of a shame your mun doesn't like killing off characters.

[Guess who's heeeere? Yep, that one creepy, stupid chick.]

I'm just, like, totally kidding. It's totally nice to see you, Mr. Dentist!
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth is looking at a stack of papers or a notepad. (Reading...)

...

An intriguing premise, but unfortunately my typist is deeply concerned by the level of interpersonal strife that might occur on their side of the fourth wall. A pity.

Her exact inner monologue was, "Holy hell, that sounds like a potential out-of-character political tinderbox."

It sounds like she's not that bad for a mun, then, even if she does have some silly ideas.
beretspin: (Like... um...)

[personal profile] beretspin 2012-06-16 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
Right... you're, like, a garbage man, or something. Or I, like, might be mistaking you for the trash.
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth points and occasionally waves his finger as he talks. (Making my case)

Really, it's good to know that anyone is giving any consideration to political matters in these games. The one I'm currently in suffers from the fact that the NPCs are incapable of experiencing or remembering evidence of the supernatural aspects of the setting, and yet there are far too many of us for such matters as the lack of a criminal justice system equipped to deal with us to go unaddressed. In my own typist's words, "If you're going to have a Masquerade, you need the..." [Edgeworth pauses to clear his throat.] "...World of Darkness to go with it."

Before you ask, yes, I have been attempting to address the concern in question, but people willing to contribute to resolving the obstacles to implementing such a system are in short supply, as are highly intelligent people in general. Furthermore, aside from a short-lived appearance by another, rather inactive Wright, I've been the only lawyer of any sort there.
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth grits his teeth and rubs his temple in irritation. (Is logic truly this rare?)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2012-06-16 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
While that might be the case, it would be far less stressful in a game where NPCs are fully capable of filling the void, even if not to the degree that you could.

I think most muns have that, unfortunately. You're lucky she doesn't kill her characters even in horror games.
asapphireheart: (Kind of happy)

I bet Mr. Edgeworth wouldn't mid having a familiar face in Ruby City. And it's only a little horror. Like zombies sometimes, and ghosts.
