[At first, Alucard's only reaction is his mouth drawing back into a thinner, tighter frown.]

It seems this place truly holds no prejudice against the dead, nor their madness. [Just a little indication that he heard about what happened when he was taking his ~~beauty sleep~~ not-so eternal nap.]

[While his smile lingers, his look is far cooler than before at that jab so evenly delivered. As expected.]

[There was a time when he would have snarled at Alucard for having the gall to turn against his own father, but... being after being treated as disposable - as any other human - after years of unwavering fealty has a way of making a Forgemaster fiercely bitter. His former master's essence invading him, his body and powers hijacked - - and then to cast him aside like nothing and without a word of acknowledgement throughout? ~~Dracula dickery, right there.~~]

[It's with careful scrutiny that Alucard studies Isaac. He notes the bitterness - for it's hard to miss - and can make many assumptions based on that, but he does not. Assumptions can be dangerous, even more so when they are directed at a Forgemaster that is not to be underestimated.]

And where has fate lead you now?

[Casual curiosity, or gauging how much of a threat he is? Isaac's non-existent money is on the latter.]
