[The Nandor have no monopoly on high spirits, but Legolas definitely turned out more Nandorin than Sindarin. It's kind of cool. Thranduil likes high spirits, or he wouldn't be personal friends with Bilbo Baggins, who is also refreshing. And surprisingly restful.]

Who do you fear shall leave sooner than others, my son? [Not a completely idle wondering. Legolas wouldn't bring it up if he weren't thinking about someone specific.]
