Ooh, fresh meat. You know I love me some memes, all the fun, none of the commitment. Just go on and let me get out there, Sugar. I'm looking at a half dozen I want to take a bite out of. You can let me in there and then take care of the rest of the migration, can't you?

Everybody's hungry for something, Sugar, you've just got to find your apple, take that bite.

Food wise or are you speaking in general terms? [Hungry? Sure. For Understanding, for knowledge. But that's a different sort of thing.]

I dunno, I mean. [she tucks hair behind her ear] I suppose I could go for a sandwich or something. Maybe. But I figured I'd stop on the way home. I just have to assume you're speaking metaphorically.

Oh six of one, half dozen of the other. Fruit of the tree of knowledge can be actual fruit. Of course, sometimes it's just a lesson, but those are never any fun without snacks.

[frowns] I'd find it distracting.

Not me, but I'm one of those who likes sharing, food and knowledge both.

[She bites her lip.] You're a generous person. Most people I know would just say one or the other.

...What's your favorite food?

Some people are selfish that way. I haven't got it in me. [a bounce of a shrug] Just the way I was spawned, I guess.

Anything with chocolate.

[eyebrow raise at spawned. She'll just shrug it off. And then she absorbs it.]

Chicken flavored Ramen.

Mm, you ever had it made fresh? Udon noodles as big as your pinky and thin-sliced chicken breast?

[a smile] Or is the packaged stuff part of the enjoyment?

[She smiles at that] I'm a law student. Packaged is what I can afford and I take it gladly.

Ah, and it all begins to make sense.

Well look at it this way: once you're a hotshot lawyer you can have it the right way and only have the packaged stuff for the sake of nostalgia.

...I'll have to take your word for it. [she grins] It's a good word. I'll be glad to take it.

My word's the best word. At least when it comes to food.
