Well, it's about time.

A shame about Captain America, though, I would have really liked to know him. You know he's a bit of a hero for me. Us, both of us -- we were special, and different, and we fought for what we believed in.

[Hopefully, Charles won't mind that Steve is wearing the Cap uniform he wears in the field instead of the USO costume.]

[ Why would he mind? He knows the horrors of war, and he knows how difficult it is, and he prefers this, truly, to the costume, to the falseness.

[The other costume wasn't quite false...it did bring hope to others. It just took time for Steve to learn to use the symbols that were associated with it to bring another type of hope to others.

The smile is answered with a grin as Steve kneels down, resting the shield against his side. He'd always hated it when people loomed over him, both when he was a boy and when he grew up. And, maybe, Charles might like a close up look at the shield.]
