Loki told us to clean up Vegas, so I was out cleaning up, saw fuckin' like.. Lightning and shit all over. Doesn't take a boy-genius to realize no clouds, no lightning. I went to go see and there's some guy wielding it.

Turns out he's a decent guy, went out for drinks with him once after we got cleaning. I half expected him to hit on me at first, but thank god I didn't have to worry about it.

Nono no no no. No. There's some sort of stringy light [and another gesture upward into the air.] shit that zoomed all over. He said it was Alchemy. Changing stuff into other stuff. You do it too if I remember right. Was a while back now.

The colonel, with the aid of material that can create a spark, is capable of transmuting air molecules into flammable material or gasses, which he ignites. Then, he continues to transmute the air in order to direct the flow of oxygen and thus the direction and strength of his explosions. I guess the way he snaps and the sudden burst of light might seem like lightening, but...

[ Over thinking this now, but that's what he tends to do when it's about alchemy. ]

Anyway, my alchemy's a lot different. There really isn't lightening involved 'less you mean the energy transference that occurs during transmutations.
