[He pauses, having been around Sokka long enough to interpret sarcasm.]

It sounds like you're not really happy about it at all.

Very perceptive, Avatar. No wonder you were able to stay hidden for so long.

Hey, I'm really good at hiding. We made Appa look like a cloud sometimes, and I even had to grow hair for a few months!

[iheartknives]

[Appa? Given that he said it was disguised as a cloud... he must be talking about the air bison.]

Those sound like very exciting stories that I care absolutely nothing about.

[She yawns just to further that point.]

I thought you'd like to know how we hid from you guys all that time.

[iheartknives]

I don't. I was only just going along with Azula because I had nothing else to do.

Oh, well... at least you're not a bad person. Do you think you can be less bored wherever you wind up going?

I won't know until I get there, but it has to be better than this.

No, I was just wondering. In case we wind up in the same place, if we're not enemies anymore, maybe we can be friends. I've been stuck here in Luceti.

[iheartknives]

You're an enemy to the Fire Kingdom, why would I want to be your friend?

Because the war's over. Or I guess it's gonna end in the future for you. And then I won't be an enemy anymore! I'm already good friends with Zuko, too.

I think I blacked out for a moment, because it almost sounded like you were just talking about being from the future.

That's the weird thing about this realm. Those mun people can take us from whatever time they choose! And my mun took me from a year after the war ended during Sozin's Comet. I know, it took me a while to get used to it too, especially since a lot of my friends at Luceti are from different times near the end of the war. And people from even farther in the future keep on showing up in this place.

I guess if that's the worst that I have to worry about... this might not be so bad.

Yeah, maybe. It really depends on the "game" thing, because they can make weird things happen to us. Here in Luceti, there are experiments that make things happen that are weird and sometimes scary. Also, we all have little wings for some reason.

[iheartknives]

Seriously. You have wings? [She squints and leans in closer to see them.]

[savedtheworld]

Yeah. I keep forgetting about them! [He turns around to show off the fairly small wings, which are orange with a yellow center, matching his wings.] They're not that useful, and I think they actually keep us alive there. But it's not hard to hide your wings it you don't like them.

[iheartknives]

Augh. [Of course they have to be orange.] Are they all that horrible color?

Hey, these are Airbender colors! ...But no, they're different for each person, and they usually reflect you in some way. So maybe you'd be happier with whatever color you get.

[iheartknives]

Hmm. [She doubts she'll be happy no matter what color her feathery fluffy wings are. Unless. They're made out of blades. But then she'd cut herself... so, no, nothing about them would make her happy.]

About the experiments you mentioned earlier... what exactly happens during them?

[savedtheworld]

It's different each time! The experiments usually last like a week and I think they happen almost every month. But not everyone in the village gets affected all the time. There's a lot of different effects. They can make you think you're someone else from a different world, change your age, and I heard that before I came here, they made Zuko think he was a frog once. I also heard that there are love experiments sometimes where people temporarily fall in love with each other at random. [He rolls his eyes.] Some of the experiments are kinda funny, some are actually bad, but at least we all wind up being normal again once the experiment ends.

[iheartknives]

Stop. Just stop talking. I don't want this Mun to find out about things like that.

[savedtheworld]

[A mischievous grin.]

Right, you probably don't want any of those weird things to happen to you, right? Even if your mun does?

[iheartknives]

[She does not like that look on his face.]

[She also realizes that there isn't a safe way to answer his question, so she doesn't respond to it.]

Why are you even talking to me? I tried to kill you and your friends. Remember?

[Well... kill is kind of a strong word, but she wasn't playing nice with them.]

Like I said, I don't think you're bad, so we can be friends. I don't believe that any of you except for Azula was really trying to kill us. Yeah, you did use to attack us, but so did Zuko, and we were able to accept him as a friend.

Speaking of Zuko, he's here too. I'm sure he'd be happy to have someone else from his home around.

[iheartknives]

Hmpt. [Like she's going to walk into that one.] Whatever.

I thought you'd like that. Oh well. Maybe you'll wind up here anyway. Come to think of it, I think a next cycle where new people arrive is next month. And my mun thinks it should almost be time for something called "application interest" to open. I guess it's just stuff you can think about.
