I have no doubt in the matter. There's much to be said for starting anew, and with you present life will certainly never be dull.

I found that these 'games' as they're called rarely allow one to go anywhere.

That's true enough. [His expression darkens just a little, mouth twisting to the side with something close to distaste.] I wouldn't blame you if you did go haring off, though. We're not the cheeriest lot you'll find around Asgard right now.

You heard, huh? Yeah, he's just arrived.

[Moodily scuffs his boot on the floor.] It's...complicated a few things.

I can only imagine. Things definitely would have been made difficult had he shown up where I currently am.

[dragonspeak]

Yeah? Like what?

[He figures they'd be in the same boat, but it doesn't hurt to ask.]

Well, I doubt his opinion of magic would be easily swayed. And there is the matter of...you and Arthur. Where I'm at you are...involved.

[dragonspeak]

I'm being open about my magic and helping people learn it in Asgard. Uther being here isn't going to change my mind about that.

[And then he chokes.] O-oh. We...are? [Suspicious silence on this end.]

Be careful, Merlin. He may not be in command of an army there, but a single person could still do harm.

[a nod] You are. I - don't know how things stand for you?

[dragonspeak]

How things stand? [Don't mind his voice going a little high at the end.] Er--we're not dating o-or anything! It's complicated.

[Because there's the thing with Morgana, and then...yeah, just. Don't ask.]

Arthur...accepts me. You know, magic and all. I'm not going to let Uther ruin something we've been working on all this time. Don't worry, Lancelot. I can take care of myself.

Tell her the best part of every tale is the hero setting out on a journey. It won't be much of a tale without it.

I'm hardly a hero, but I will pass it along.

Everyone are heroes of their own tales and this is yours. So you must be. To your mun - and mine, I think. Not that I disagree, I see no reason to.

That is a lovely sentiment, I never thought of it that way.

I tell it to my pupils. They seem to think heroes have to be in story books but - we all lead a story. It gives them a purpose, something to look forward to.

I am and I'm even luckier to have them. They teach me a lot.
