Mun-san! Mun-san! I get to share a voice with one of the best ninjas ever, Sarutobi Sasuke!! This is great news! You wanted me to cheer up after recent game events, and I am! I don't think I could not cheer up after finding this out.

Oh, you got a good voice actor too? My mun started laughing when she heard about mine, because she apparently only really knows that VA as a really girly girl. [you're sharing a voice with Cheria Barnes I will be laughing forever] But the VA also did Chun-Li somewhere, so I think it should be okay! [Chun-Li is totes coolbeans, man.]

She didn't recognize the name at first, but when she looked up his roles, she screamed. My mun is really pleased with mine.

[Though not as much as Ivan is. Ninja ninja ninja]

Chun-Li? That's really fitting. Maybe you can spar together.

I met Chun-Li in Luceti, actually! She was really nice. She said she was interested in sparring with me, but...she got sent home before we could. [Shame. It was nice to actually meet another person from Hong Kong.]

I only got to meet another ninja briefly. Then he left.

She talked a lot about the "Street Fighter" tournament in her world. It sounded pretty exciting! Though a little dangerous. But if there was something like that in Sternbild, I think I might want to join!

That... sounds like something Agnes-san would hold for Hero TV.

[Think of what the ratings would be if the Heroes fought each other!]

[In a way, it is sort of what they do already for HeroTV. It's just that their "fighting" consists of rushing to save more civilians and arrest more criminals than other Heroes. But an all-out brawl... ~~and suddenly we know the climactic battle of season two~~]

You think so? I don't know if I'd want to do that for HeroTV...unless it was just like a one-time thing, or something. And as long as other people didn't need our help! [Heroes should not be fighting each other when there are criminals to apprehend!!!!]

My mun thinks something like that has to be happening in the movie. Why else are we in a theme park fighting each other?

[But why is he against Sky High-san? That's such an unfair fight, putting the bottom of the rankings against the King of Heroes!]

Yeah, that's kind of weird, isn't it? But the movie's supposed to be coming out in September, so hopefully we'll find out soon! I hope we at least got to have fun at the amusement park before we started fighting each other, though... [Otherwise, what a waste of an amusement park visit.]

Bison-san probably got stuck on the rides if he went on them with his suit on.

[Those drills. Those horns... if he went at all. Bison-san may not be the type to enjoy rides. ~~Neither is Ivan, but he probably got forced to ride some.~~]

I'm a bit surprised more details haven't come out about the movie. September's not that far away.

My mun's seen some news about the PSP game and maybe a mobile game, but other than this poll, there hasn't been much about the movie. [Gosh, poor Blue Rose...though how did Rock Bison beat the entirety of the Girls' Team? It must be that new PASH magazine poster that just came out.] Maybe once they finish announcing all of the English dub actors, they'll focus on the movie?

The mobile game is news to my mun. Oh, and there was something about the Live show... There's a lot to keep track of now that I think about it. I wonder how many seconds that poll gives us...

And there's lots of merchandise being released, too. [Mun is eyeing this fatally cute figurine GET IN MY LIFE NOW -- ] But I think I'd rather have movie information. That's way more exciting!

Not to mention more likely to be acquired. I've heard it's a fierce battle to even claim one.

[Mun does not even attempt at pinning over figures because they're gone in seconds.]

[She nods.] It's pretty crazy! But my mun can wait in the meantime. She, um, doesn't have money to spend on things like that at the moment anyway...

My mun's the same way. She bought my Call Band, and that's good enough for her right now.

My mun's also hoping to save up for the DVDs of the dub. Usually she doesn't buy anime much anymore, but she really wants to support the franchise, especially if they're going international.

[Ivan has to laugh. There is something a little meta about all this. It's like their fans in their world.]

Mine too, and if the movie happens to come to a theater anywhere near where she lives, she's going. The UK can't be the only place that's getting it besides Japan.

It's weird they announced a date for the UK before the US! Sternbild is in the US [or based on it at least -- damn worldbuilding], so...

Yeah! I mean, it's nice for the UK, but it's usually the other way around...

Well, I'm sure the US will get something, eventually! Maybe they're still working out when and where it will happen.

It would be a little disappointing if they didn't. I wonder if the delay has to do with our English voice actors.

That could be possible! I heard they might be announcing Mr. Tiger and Mr. Barnaby's voice actors at Anime Expo in the first week of July, so maybe we'll get more movie news afterwards.

An expo announcement? That sounds promising and would probably be a good PR move.

My mun says it's just a theory at this point -- she heard about it because people were talking about the timing of the dub cast announcements and stuff like that. There's not that many characters left to announce, and there's a Tiger & Bunny panel at Anime Expo, so that's why people think there'll be important news announced there.

I guess we'll just have to see. It's not much longer, huh?

Nope! They just announced Lunatic's voice actor today, so hopefully next week it'll be Wild Tiger and Barnaby!

They have to be announced together. They're a team.

I definitely think they'll do that! There's no reason for them not to. It sucks to have to wait at least another week, but at least my mun has a lot to do in the meantime.

The week will be over before we know it. Ah, but it's still so exciting.
