Yes, I am aware of why you are...troubled by this...

At least they did not mention Polaris...?

At least they did not mention Polaris...?

This sounds sort of like the preparations for a ritual, ah... Does your mun not like occult things like that?

[Let's be delicate here, lest the mun explode in to a puddle of blood or something.]
She's grown a sense of...concern over seeing it.

[Connecting dots, please wait~.]
If she can't bear seeing it, it might be best to urge her to avoid such things.
[Yes.
That was a pun.]

I try. However, she is...not easily...
...
She's stubborn.
[And apparently exasperating enough that Alcor isn't gonna try and sugarcoat it.]
As well as over-protective. [WHICH IS ODD, HE'S A STAR GOD THING, WHAT IS SHE WORRIED ABOUT]

[By the look on his face, that's probably a 'no'.]

No?

No.

But he's going to think it.
YOU. ARE. A. DICK.]
I would appreciate if you and Philemon did not use my brothers in your games, even in concept. To agitate Polaris with all else that was happening...

So you would believe. Thus is the power of your rumors, correct?
How would you have felt, in truth? If Polaris attempted to destroy humanity for the corruption you bred? Would that make you the victor in your games still...?

However, I answer one... perhaps two humans. I don't baby them the whole way through. All I do is hand them a tool to answer their own ugly desires. I hardly do anything. Even then, wouldn't you say that my chances for success are never guaranteed? If a human is strong enough, I can't win. ... but that isn't the case. That's never the case.
... If Polaris destroyed the world for that weakness, then yes, I would be the victor. Polaris' will is a force of nature. If it came as a result of human sins, then surely it can be considered the inevitable punishment.

If you should attempt such, use your server. Not mine.
[Sorry, Naoya, but them's the breaks.]

You have accepted your role in all of this? Even though man has given it to you.
I suppose you are much like Polaris, Nyarlathotep.

So yes. I question why your lot is to be the shadow. Can there be forces, higher than even Polaris, than yourself, that dictate these things?
I cannot forsee you wishing to break free of your role, but it is a matter I consider quite often.

But, what is it? When did it come to be...? Gods do not often question such matters, but man does. If their negative feelings are mankind's 'sin', then is this not their true hope?

This force drives the Heavenly Throne, then. As well as the record...
[In-ter-es-ti-ng...]
Have you ever felt fit to question the nature of our existence, Nyarlathotep?
no subject
[Something he was programmed to believe since birth...]

[He can't even respond to that. See the look he's giving you? Yep, there's pity in it, somewhere.]
Don't you believe you have meaning?
no subject
Yet in reality, I realize you're merely deluded. Or lying, but I believe that gives you too much credit.

Is that all you can manage Nyarlathoteps?
Even I am underwhelmed.

I do not know if 'I' would agree with myself, but...I have come to accept such trivialities as part of the charm.
that icon makes me laugh for some reason
probably because he's turned on his .~*FAB*~.
I gave mankind language, but not their individual, intrinsic quirks of written word. Many other languages were born from such misspellings, creating dialects and...
