A game, is it? Are you quite certain you're up for it? I'm not played, darling, I'm the player, despite what you may think.

Anyway, let's have a look, shall we? Thirteen powerful beings, all with different true goals but ostensibly united in the pursuit of one great prize: the creation of a new universe. A familiar set of rules, a game I've played before... but it looks like the suits are a little different this time. And so's the prize...

It'll take some getting used to, but I think you and I can manage, yes?

For a moment I thought you were talking about a different game entirely Luxord. The goals are quite the same as far as I can tell.

Oh yes. Of course, when I was playing, I was one of the vaunted Thirteen. Well. In a manner of speaking. It'll be interesting to see it from the ground...

There's a few academic differences, particularly in how the goal's obtained, and I'd say the precise nature of the prize differs...

But I suppose that when one looks at the larger picture, you'd be correct. A new world is a new world, regardless of how it's obtained.

Also, I know death isn't possible here but be wary. One of Vexen's experiments is running about and may react harshly if my mundane bring him here as well.

Well, that was the plan. We didn't quite succeed. And, if I'm reading the cards right, it may be that in the end, we were misled.

But that won't be something I'm going to know, I think...

I've never feared Death, Zexion; an unpleasant thing, to be sure, but one to be faced like any other hand dealt to you. Anyway, which one of Vexen's little pets is it? There's so many... is it Riku's copy? I heard that one had quite a temper.

I can't help but pity him despite prior circumstances. His entire life a manufactured fantasy that would inevitably be broken by reality.

I wish I could give you a more valid opinion on the matter, but I can't say I or my mun have ever heard of the game you're headed to in the first place.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to share, though! One person cant effectively rule a whole world anyways, right? Everyone can contribute their strengths towards running it and whatnot... Plus there'd probably be interesting uhm, games, with people trying to rule together. For you to gamble on.

Oh, absolutely. Truth told, I personally wouldn't want to rule myself... simply not cut out for that. But I would like a hand in the way the cards are stacked, and an eye on how the dice will fall.

"Playing a game to win the universe, X?" Even after all this time, he still can't seem to drop the habit of calling the members by their numbers and actually say their names. You'd think spending ten years together would at least create some sort of bond between the members but if it has, Saix seems determined to ignore it.

"What sort of game is it this time?" He has no objection to Luxord creating a universe, so long as it doesn't directly effect him or his goals.

My mun is laughing at the '13 people united for one goal' line you're spouting, though he knows things I don't.

It might be a good change of pace for me to be sent to a new enviroment but it pays to be cautious.

It does pay to play one's cards close to the chest when you're new to the game, that's true. You might not win big, but you won't lose big either, and you'll get a sense of the way the place works...

Looks like we may be heading to same place then.
