Stop flip-flopping, girl. Waffling will either lose us our target, or just leave you unhappier than you are, already.
I'd say we go; the clone's just going to break down on you, and while I'd like to say I'm needed back home, considering what's going to happen... or has happened, that carries no weight as an argument.
Don't look forward to having to prove myself again, though, since some of the crew still don't seem to think I can do what I can.
[So. frustrating.]
I'll miss Grim and Magnus... and the others, I suppose, though not having to listen to Huffer's glitching would be a welcome change, if you do send me.

Who let you out?
no subject
Just because they're both pink doesn't mean they look the same!]... No one. Why would anyone need to "let me out"?
[What are you even talking about, Decepticon?]
no subject
Uh huh. What? You escaped? Thought Garrus-9 was supposed to be a secure prison.
[Pfff. SO much for Autobot security, if a girl could break out of it.]
no subject
I've never been in prison, and I've never heard of Garrus-9, so I think you've mistaken me for someone else.
[Which is a new one on her, since she's pretty... unique so far.
And, you didn't. Deadlock, if Elita could see this, she'd hand you your aft so fast your spark won't know what happened before it dispersed.]
no subject
Autobot. Female. Pink.
[But why not? He'll play your little game.]
All right. Where have you been the last four million years?
[If Elita did that, it would merely confirm to him that girls are evil and should be imprisoned.]
no subject
... Yes, and..? Anyone can tell that, or do you just need to recount these things aloud to make sure you've got it right?
[... Well, that's not a strange question at all. And not one she's inclined to answer.]
Training with my teacher.
[DISCRIMINATION--- Ahem, well, it'd just serve him right to come to such a conclusion.]
no subject
How many pink, female Autobots you think there are? Just making sure you've got it right.
[In case your brain module's compressed under that ridiculously huge helm of yours, that is. He's just trying to be gentlemanly.]
Training in what?
[How to be an obsessed crazy person with a grudge bigger than you are against Jhiaxus, perhaps?]
[Hello, Elita: Decepticon. Not known for their vast and liberal equal opportunity stance.]
no subject
... While there's only one of me where I'm from, that doesn't preclude other individuals around being pink and Autobots.
[Let's just not touch the "female" thing... Whatever that means in Marvel/Classics-verse, as opposed to IDW. The mundane assuredly doesn't know. And he's surely a stunning example of genteel behaviour. It's enough to make her swoon.]
Martial arts. What does this even matter in regards to who you think I am, if you think I've been in prison?
[She'd sure like to go "gee" and axe you, Deadlock, but she might just be overwhelmed by your charm.]
no subject
I only know of one.
[Hnh. Must be some girl thing: making all those words but making no sense at all.]
[Yeah don't ask him what females are. All he knows is 'pink and kind of scary'.]
Why are you so defensive about it, then?
[Huh? HUH?! Oh he's so got you.]
no subject
Which doesn't seem to be me.
[Or Deadlock just can't keep up with all these words being said.]
[Clearly there needs to be more females about in other colours... They need some other continuity Arcees or other female Cybertronians so Deadlock can widen his knowledge of them.]
Because my past isn't anyone's business but mine, hot shot. You've still not told me who you think I am.
[You've got nothing! She'll deny everything! ... Except the part about being a martial artist, that one's true.]
no subject
Certainly sound crazy enough.
[And that is all he needs to know.]
[Nope. He knows of no Cybertronian females. There are a few human females where he lives--like Kimber--who are...female enough for him to know allllll he needs to know.]
Right. That's not suspicious at all.
Hiding something, are you, Arcee?
no subject
[Congratulations, Deadlock. Have Elita scowling at you, arms crossed.]
[Except human females are (or should be) completely different from cybertronian ones.]
My private life, for one, since it's private but my designation isn't one of the things I don't divulge to every random mech who asks, and it's certainly not Arcee.
Elita One, of the Graviton. Decepticon Hunters.
[Have a small, sharp grin.]
no subject
[Because only a crazy person would doubt Deadlock's logic. It is so sound!]
Nothing's private in a war. [See? She should know that.]
[Deadlock smirks. ] Decepticon hunter, are you?
Congratulations. You found one. [He's so impressed.]
no subject
[So sound it makes a really loud noise as it whistles through his helm?]
I'm hardly a high-profile soldier, and there isn't really a war any longer. What I don't reveal doesn't get bandied about.
[Their war was a bit more... quaint? Compared to yours, Deadlock.]
Hunting down the stragglers that can't accept the fact that the war is over, yes.
[She'll just tilt her helm back and glance up at the ceiling - equiavlent eyeroll is go.]
Yes, that was quite obvious the moment you booted up your vocalizer. Considering you're from... another universe, you're not currently one of our targets.
[You could always be one, however.]
no subject
...
Elita?
no subject
That's my designation, yes. It's an honour to meet you, Optimus Prime.
[She'd briefly seen her own Prime, but hadn't really talked to him. The chance to do so was certainly not unwelcome.]
no subject
[She doesn't know him. She does not know him. How...
-Damn those alternate universes.]
Yes. You...too.
no subject
... I'm sorry.
Did you lose... the one you knew?
[She has enough companions in the headspace to know of alternate realities, and that - since he knew her name - was the only thing that made sense.]
no subject
I...yes.
Yes, I think I did.
...I will probably never know for sure, really.
no subject
Maybe there's still a chance you'll... get to meet her again.
[This is... kind of awkward talking about an alternate of herself that this Prime clearly had been... close to.]
... This is going to be strange, if we end up in the same place.
[AWKWARD.]
