No offense Ma’am, but this feels an awful lot like I’m being paraded around and shown off again. I’ll admit I’m not fond of the idea. I’m not going back to the sidelines because you decided it would be entertaining. What if SHIELD needs me?

A team is only as strong as its weakest link, something you already know. Stark is reckless and so long as he's with the Avengers, he needs to be a team-player.

It used to be for show. When I started going on missions it stuck around. [Shrug] A friend of mine recently told me that we needed a little old-fashioned; I guess he was right.

What's wrong with parading around and showing off one's skills?

Last time I was paraded around it was just to show off that I existed. None of them cared about my skills. I should have been on the front lines, not on a stage.

I'm not interested in the publicity. I just want to get my job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. I don't need an audience to do that.
