Years passed from birth to present do not make a warrior or matter when it comes to war. However, such an argument is not going to get through to them, mine has never listened to reason, rather it be spoken, shouted or written.

It does not, however I have spent several years training with the Housecarls and the weapons master. She has difficulty believing a girl who has seen fourteen years could accomplish what I can.

It is because they exist in a world where being fourteen means being a child, innocence in most other worlds does not last quite so long. I was already Commander by your age, she'll learn not to doubt you as she comes to know you better.

Commendable, I can not say I myself remain silent when she makes decisions I can not agree on but in the end, your greatest asset is to not let them change you, keep who you are, no matter what may come.

It sounds to me like a civilization waiting to fall, with no warriors what do they do when an enemy arises?

I am glad to hear this, a strong will is needed to survive their designs.
