Crows feet and worry lines aren't all I do. I work plastic surgical magic. My work... is like art. I'm like... Sehgal... no Michelangelo. I'm like Michelangelo with a scalpel. I've re-made whole faces. My work is a lot more than crows feet and worry lines.

[ Her eyebrows lift even more at that and she actually laughs this time. ]

Your ego is amazing, you know that? [ No wonder his mun wants to bring him to Atia. ] How does remaking entire faces help people, though? Unless you're doing it for, like... the CIA or the FBI or whoever it is that does the Witness Protection Program.

Thank you, my ego is pretty amazing. [Mark grins.] There are plenty of other reasons, birth defects...bone diseases, car accidents. The most gratifying work comes from helping the kids. [Because who wouldn't be impressed by a guy who likes to help kids?]

[ Kids is actually a bit of a touchy subject right now, but she'd be lying if she said that didn't up his hotness level a notch or two. Still, Brooke knows how to play it cool, especially since she is in a very happy, monogamous relationship. ]

Sorry that you had to go so long without familiar faces, that had to be rough.

[ She shrugs a little. It was a little rough but having Peyton of all people show up? That was even rougher than not having anyone from home there with her. ] It wasn't so bad. I mean... I wouldn't really wish the whole trapped on sex island on anyone, especially my friends. [ Except that's not entirely true, either. There are plenty of people she misses terribly that she would give just about anything to see again. ]

Being trapped on a sex island isn't really all that different from back home when it comes to my friends.
