I mourn Blackwater as well.
We have done what we could. And there was not enough of what we have, though we made the best of it. Brave men died in Blackwater, for many different things that we believed. And in that one night, all of them were more real than anything ever was.
Perhaps that was the problem.
[a pause as he considers so many other things; hesitates; but decides to end it with,]
