"Never"? I always have a duty to somebody. That's one of the perils of being a superhero. I'm guessing you're not too familiar with that part, though...

Aside from that, yeah- hey! It's not useless. Sometimes you just gotta let your grudges go. Move on. Heal. ...All that kind of self-help stuff.

[ It is one of his many talents: being cheeky. ] You'd not need to bear your heart to me. Those sentiments, of course, are yours. I merely feel that you may lack nonjudgmental ears to listen.

If it were petty, I'd say your right, but it is not. His wrongs have not just effected me, but my people, my entire world. He and his father are a danger and need to be eradicated.

[Never hurts to be multi-talented.] ...All right. For the sake of argument, let's say you do manage to destroy him. To wipe him from the face of the Earth.

Then what?

Then I restore glory to my people.

And hopefully leave the normal people down on Earth out of it. [Not "us normal people". Superpowers tend to put a damper on the "normal" thing.]

Hmm. [Another thoughtful pause. She can't really condone revenge, but it doesn't involve her or Paragon City. She sighs before looking Loki right in the eyes.]

I won't say "good luck". But I'll hold you to what you just said about Earth.

Blade to blade. [Or, well, fire axe to spear. And fire to ice.] Heh. Most guys like you that I meet don't tend to be so honorable. It's a nice surprise.

[ Or quite as good a liar, perhaps. But he'll show no tell. It might be also his ego that leads him to such claims and his Father fights with such. Some part of him wishes to carry that but how much of it is in his nature? That is questionable. ]

[Only Nemesis could possibly give Loki a run for his money in the liar department. But only the better superheros ever run into the guy. She's only fought street thugs.]
