So, uh, it's great that you're actually doing something, and that you chose me-not the humanized me, not the alternate me, but me, good ole me-but...

This place kind of sounds like how Mosaic was before.  We remember that I died in Mosaic before, right?  I'd rather not get poked and prodded all over again and-hello, are you listening?  ...This isn't changing anything, is it?  Damn.

Well, at least it lacks crazy people from home.  There's just...other crazy people to worry about.  Such is the life of George, it seems.

I get that a lot myself. People see me and think stupid fish. Or they freak out... [Or they tell him to shut up once they see how much he talks...]

Yup. I'm always on the move. I think they call it "wanderlust". Places to go, people to see. I can't stay anywhere for too long, because sooner or later I'll find myself needing to get up and go again. I've had more than enough people offering me nice places to stay...but I can't. Too restless to settle down. You know?

Still do, kind of. Mostly I help people now.

You like helping people, too?

I do what I can, when people need it. I guess that's part of what keeps me going. Knowing that there's someone else out there that could use some help more than if I just stayed put in one place.

Yeah. The people who are, uh, different. Not just like, talking fish and dogs, but people who have abilities. Or don't have anywhere else to go. [Okay, so it's more like he helps Beck and everyone else help people, but he still helps.]

So how do you help people?

Depends on what people need at the time? Sometimes, someone needs a friend. Or someone to help uncover evidence of this or that. All kinds of things.

One time, I saved a couple of cougar kittens from a forest fire. Another time I proved that this woman was being blamed for something she didn't do. Getting a hard time she didn't deserve. That kind of thing.

Well I'm not actually a fish. I mean, I'm not like a normal fish. Water is nice, but I don't need to be in it all the time. I can go pretty much anywhere. Even been on a spaceship once.
